Technical Description Rifgood-200 contains Rifaximin, a semi-synthetic derivative of Rifamycin. It acts by binding to the beta-subunit of bacterial DNA-dependent RNA polymerase. This binding inhibits the initiation of RNA transcription, effectively preventing the bacteria from synthesizing proteins and replicating.
The technical standout of Rifgood-200 is its "Non-Systemic" nature. Due to its unique chemical structure, less than 0.4% of the drug is absorbed into the blood.
