Rabeprazole Sodium (20mg) is a second-generation PPI that provides a faster onset of action compared to older PPIs. It effectively inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme system, significantly reducing gastric acid secretion within the first hour of intake.
Domperidone (30mg) is provided in a Sustained Release (SR) form. While 10mg is released immediately to address nausea, the remaining 20mg is released slowly to maintain the tone of the Lower Esophageal Sphincter (LES) and promote continuous gastric emptying.
